Hey there! đź‘‹
As we mentioned in our recent announcement, we’ve introduced a few changes to how contacts are added and how campaigns are created. The goal? To make everything simpler, faster, and easier to control. You now get a chance to review contacts before sending an entire list—or just selected contacts—into a campaign, giving you more flexibility and confidence in your outreach. ✨
To get started, navigate to the Lists tab in your dashboard.
This will open a brand-new view where you can create and manage your lists in a more organized way. 🗂️ Click on New to begin.
Step 1: Name Your List & Choose When to Add Contacts
Creating a list works similarly to creating a campaign:
Give your list a name — choose something clear so you can easily find it later.
Decide whether you want to:
Create the list now and add contacts immediately, or
Create an empty list and add contacts later.
Select your source, such as:
LinkedIn Search
Sales Navigator Search
Recruiter Search
LinkedIn Post
CSV Upload 📥
Depending on the source you choose, you may also need to select the connection degree.
Once everything is set, click Next to continue. ➡️
Step 2: Configure Contact Discovery Options
Next, you’ll see options for finding contacts. Here you’ll also notice a new option:
Discover contacts’ InMail Status — this checks whether a contact has an Open Profile, helping you better understand your messaging opportunities. 💬
After selecting your preferences, click Discover to start building your list.
Step 3: Wait for Discovery to Complete
Once discovery begins, your list will start populating with contacts.
This process may take up to 30 minutes before leads begin appearing under Total contacts, depending on the source size. ⏳
While discovery is running, you’ll see a “Discovery in progress…” message under the source. When the process is finished, that message disappears, confirming your list is ready. ✅
Step 4: Review Your Contacts
Click on the list name to open it and view all discovered contacts.
Here’s where the new workflow really shines—you can now carefully review contacts before deciding what to do next. 🔍
This gives you full control to:
Validate contact quality
Remove unwanted contacts
Prepare only the best contacts for outreach 🎯
What’s Next?
Once your list looks good, you can push:
The entire list, or
Only selected contacts directly into a campaign.
This extra review step helps you stay precise, organized, and efficient—so your campaigns perform better with less guesswork. 🚀
