Looking to add fresh contacts to your ongoing Skylead campaign? This guide walks you through refreshing your search or importing new contacts seamlessly to keep your campaign dynamic and engaging. Previously, leads were imported directly into campaigns. Now, this process has been moved to the Lists dashboard.
To add leads, you’ll first need to add them to a list. From there, if the list is already connected to a campaign, those leads will be automatically added to all campaigns linked to that list—saving you time and keeping everything in sync. ⚡
Option 1: Refresh Search

If you already have a LinkedIn search result campaign running and want to boost it with new contacts, we’ve got your back!
Now navigate to the Lists dashboard, find the list you want to refresh and click on it:
This will open a new screen displaying all the contacts in your list. To see where these leads came from, click on Sources—there you’ll find all the sources used for that specific list. 🔍
Next, click on the three-dot menu next to the search you want to refresh and select Refresh search. This will revisit the original search link and automatically add any new contacts it finds to your list. 🔄
You can also enable the Auto-refresh option and choose your preferred refresh frequency. This way, new leads will be added automatically—no need to trigger the refresh manually. 🔄 Remember, Refresh search only works if you have used a search as a source.
Option 2: Import New Contacts
Adding new contacts is a piece of cake when you have a CSV file ready. Here’s how to do it:

Click on the name of the list you want to expand. This will take you to the Contacts list, where you’ll find a button that says “Import”.
Now click on Upload and import the CSV file. To make sure your CSV file is correctly formatted, you can check our article. Once you added the file, click on Import.
During this process, we’ll check for any duplicate contacts in your file. Only unique contacts will be added to your list, ensuring your data stays clean and organized.
- The other import option is to insert a Search URL: Just enter the URL, and you’re all set! 🌟 You can then pick your preferred connection degree. ✨
❗Make sure to add the same connection degree used in the original campaign.
