Hey there! đź‘‹
The AI Training Set helps your AI SDR improve over time by learning from real conversations and your feedback.
Unlike the Knowledge Base, which provides factual information about your business, or Strategies, which define how conversations should be handled, the AI Training Set teaches the AI how you prefer to communicate with your leads.
Every approved conversation becomes another example the AI can learn from, making future replies more accurate, natural, and aligned with your communication style. 🤖
Default AI Training Set
When you open the AI Training Sets section inside the AI SDR tab, you'll notice that a Default training set is already available.
This training set has already been prepared by our team and trained using carefully reviewed conversations and feedback. It gives your AI SDR a strong foundation, allowing it to generate high-quality replies right away without requiring any additional setup. You can't edit the Default AI Training Set or provide feedback for its replies.
You can continue using the Default training set, or create your own if you'd like your AI SDR to learn from conversations that are unique to your business.
Create Your Own Training Set
To create a custom training set, click +New.
Give your training set a descriptive name so it's easy to recognize later, especially if you plan to create multiple training sets for different products, services, teams, or communication styles.
Once created, simply select it when configuring your AI SDR, and it will begin collecting training examples from your reviewed conversations.
How AI Learns From Your Feedback
Your custom training set improves every time you review AI-generated replies in Semi-Automatic Reply mode.
When the AI suggests a reply, you can:
- âś… Approve it if you're happy with the response.
- ✏️ Edit it before sending if you'd like to improve or personalize it.
- 👎 Reject it if the response isn't appropriate.
Each review helps your AI SDR better understand how you want it to communicate and it's recommended to provide feedback on both good and bad responses
Every time you give feedback on a reply, it’s automatically added to your selected AI Training Set as a learning example. As you continue providing feedback, your AI SDR becomes better at understanding your communication style and delivering responses that sound more like you in similar situations.
Edit an AI Training Set
As your AI SDR learns from reviewed conversations, you can always revisit and refine your training examples.
To edit a custom AI Training Set, click the three-dot menu next to the training set and select Edit AI Training Set.
Inside, you'll find every conversation that has been added to the training set through your feedback in Semi-Automatic Reply mode.
To manage a specific example, click the three-dot menu on the right. From there, you can:
For each example, you can update:
- Feedback – Change whether the reply should be treated as a Good example or a Bad example.
- Feedback description – Update the explanation describing why the response was good or bad. This helps the AI better understand your reasoning.
- Ideal response – Modify the response you would have preferred the AI SDR to generate in that situation
Editing your training examples allows you to continuously fine-tune your AI SDR as your communication style, messaging, or business goals evolve.
How AI SDR Uses the Training Set
Whenever your AI SDR generates a reply, it combines information from three different sources:
- Knowledge Base – provides accurate information about your business, products, services, pricing, and FAQs.
- Strategies – defines the conversation goal, tone of voice, and reply behavior.
- AI Training Set – provides real examples of how conversations should be handled based on your previous feedback.
By combining these three sources, your AI SDR can generate replies that are accurate, consistent, and increasingly personalized as it continues learning from your interactions. 🚀
Best Practice
đź’ˇ If you're just getting started, we recommend using Semi-Automatic Reply mode for a while before switching to fully automatic replies.
Reviewing, editing, and approving responses gives your AI SDR valuable feedback and helps it quickly adapt to your communication style. The more high-quality feedback you provide, the smarter and more accurate your AI SDR becomes over time.
As your Training Set grows, your AI SDR will continue using everything it has learned—together with your Knowledge Base and Strategies—to deliver faster, more natural, and more personalized conversations with your leads.
Happy selling! 🚀
