Hey Skyleader 👋
Is LinkedIn asking you to turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)? No stress — we’ve got your back! You’ll only need to do this setup once, and then we’ll automatically handle the 2FA codes for you (yep, no more typing in those numbers every time 😎).
Let’s walk through it together — step by step.
1. Open LinkedIn 2FA Settings in Skylead ⚙️
Log into your Skylead account and go to Settings. Scroll all the way down — you’ll see a button called Set up LinkedIn 2FA.
Click on it to get started.
The new screen will open:
2. Get the Secret Key from LinkedIn 🔍
Now let’s grab the secret key from your LinkedIn account. Here's how:
- Go to your LinkedIn Settings & Privacy
- Choose Sign in & security → Two-step verification
- Click Set up and create a 6-digit PIN
- Select Authenticator App as your verification method
- Enter your LinkedIn password
- LinkedIn will show a QR code — scan it with your authenticator app
- Just below the QR code, you'll see a secret key — copy that key! 🔑
3. Paste the Key into Skylead
Back in Skylead, paste that secret key into the field provided and hit Confirm.
We’ll validate it instantly.
Now go back to LinkedIn and complete the process. You’ll see a code in your authenticator app — make sure it matches the one displayed in Skylead. If it does, just click Confirm this code matches with phone on LinkedIn. ✅
You’re All Set now 🎉
Your LinkedIn 2FA is now active and synced with Skylead. From now on, we’ll take care of the codes so you can focus on crushing your outreach 🚀
Want to Turn It Off Later?
No problem. You can disable it anytime by heading back to the same spot and clicking Disable LinkedIn 2FA.
