Hey there! 👋
Want to reach your leads through their business emails, even if you don't have their email addresses yet?
With the Skylead, you can discover and verify business email addresses using LinkedIn profile information and automatically use them in your outreach campaigns. 🚀
Let's see how to set everything up!
1. Choose Your Lead Source
Start by creating a new campaign.
To discover business emails using LinkedIn profile information, you can use:
LinkedIn URL Search: Add a LinkedIn search URL containing the profiles of the leads you want to target.
CSV File: Upload a CSV file containing LinkedIn profile URLs. Make sure your file includes a
profileUrlcolumn so the Skylead can identify the leads.
Both options allow the platform to use LinkedIn profile information to discover and verify business email addresses.
Using Your Source While Setting Up a Campaign
You can also use email addresses and lead information already provided through your campaign source, such as a CSV file or API.
For this option, make sure your source includes the necessary information, such as firstName, lastName, and companyDomain, to support email discovery and verification.
During campaign setup, you can also configure email tracking options, such as tracking email opens and link clicks, to monitor your campaign performance.
2. Build Your Campaign Sequence
Once you've selected your lead source, proceed to the final stage of campaign creation, where you'll build your sequence.
Next, locate the Action menu on the right side of the sequence builder and drag the Find & Verify Business Email step into your sequence.
This step will attempt to discover and verify business email addresses using your leads' LinkedIn profile information.
Once an email is successfully verified, the Skylead stores it so it can be used later in your campaign.
To learn more about this process, check out our Email Discovery and Verification Step guide.
Tip: We recommend adding the If Email Verified condition after the discovery step. This allows you to create two different paths:
Email verified: Continue with an Email Message step.
Email not verified: Continue with LinkedIn actions, such as Invite to Connect.
This way, your campaign can continue engaging with leads even when their business email addresses cannot be found.
3. Set Up Your Email Message Step
When adding an Email Message step, make sure to select the correct option under Target Email Address.
You'll see two options:
To emails found by the platform: Uses business email addresses previously discovered and verified by the Find & Verify Business Email step.
To emails imported via my source: Uses email addresses already provided through your lead source (CSV file)
Since you're discovering business emails through the campaign, select To emails found by the platform.
The verified addresses are saved and remain available until the lead reaches the Email Message step, even if there are other actions in between.
Once the lead reaches that step, the Skylead will use the verified business email address to send your message.
Good to know: Discovered and verified business email addresses will also be available within the Skylead and included in the CSV file exported from your campaign.
You're All Set! 🚀
And that's it! By choosing the right lead source, adding the Find & Verify Business Email step, and selecting To emails found by the platform, you can easily combine LinkedIn and email outreach in one campaign.
Happy prospecting with the Skylead! 🌟
