How to Create a Post Engagement Campaign

Posts on LinkedIn are usually used to engage with your network and spread the word about you, your business, or the industry that you’re in.

This gave rise to LinkedIn Influencers that often share useful information about their field of work. And it’s not rare to see these posts reach a couple of thousands of reactions from various LinkedIn users.

With Skylead, you are able to leverage the reach of these influencers and generate leads using our Post Engagement campaign.

In this article, we’ll go over how you can use Post Engagement to maximize your outreach and reap the benefits of this unique way of generating leads.

The Basics

The first thing that you would want to do is to find a post on LinkedIn that your target audience likes to engage with. This method of generating leads only works for accounts belonging to users and not for company accounts as well.

Note: Try to find a post with at most 2.500 reactions to it since it’s the limit of leads that a Skylead campaign can process.

To use a post as a source for generating leads all you have to do is click on the 3 dots at the top right corner of said post, choose the “Copy Link to Post” option, and paste the generated URL to the Skylead dashboard.

The Benefits

One of the main benefits of a Post Engagement campaign is that you can personalize your approach to the leads like never before. Take the post above as an example. It talks about how the LinkedIn user in question is releasing a book that deals with the subject of how to acquire new leads on LinkedIn.

You can now use the knowledge that you’ve gained from looking at the post to engage with your potential leads by referencing something from the post or, in this case, the book itself.

This kind of personalization will also help you boost the acceptance rate of your campaign since you will be referencing something that both you and the lead have in common.

Here’s an example of the Connection Request message that we created for the post in question:

“Hey ,

I saw you also liked the post about Daniel Disney's new book called "The Ultimate LinkedIn Sales Guide", so wanted to add you, since we share similar interests! 📚

You can also use hyper-personalization in the following message and it could look something like this:

With these 🔥 conversation starters, you are sure to strike up a conversation with your leads in a matter of minutes.
