Hey Skyleaders! 🚀
Ready to master the art of blacklisting in Skylead? Whether it's avoiding certain companies or individuals in your campaigns, or ensuring you don't email the wrong folks, this guide is for you! Let's break down the steps to make sure your campaigns are targeting just the right audience. Here we go! ✨
Blacklist Basics:
-
Why Blacklist?:
- Blacklisting is super handy for avoiding competitors, specific individuals, or companies. It's like setting up a 'no-go' zone in your campaigns. 🚫
-
Getting Started:
- Head over to the 'Settings' page on Skylead.
- Select the 'Blacklist' option. This is where you'll set up your exclusions. 📋
-
Adding to the Blacklist:
- You have two key options here:
- Company Name: Want to avoid a specific company? Just type in their name.
- Individual’s Name: To exclude a particular person, enter their full name (first and last). 👤
- Remember, adding names or companies here means they'll be excluded from all future campaigns. But, if they were in past campaigns, you’ll need to remove them manually.

-
A Note on URLs:
- Just a heads-up, URLs won’t work in the blacklist. If you put in someone's profile URL, Skylead might still target them.
Email or Domain Blacklist:
-
Expanding Your Blacklist:
- Beyond LinkedIn, you can also blacklist email addresses and entire company domains. 📧
-
How to Add Emails or Domains:
- For an individual email, type it in directly (like john@doe.com).
- To blacklist an entire domain, simply enter the domain (like doe.com).
- This feature is super useful if you’ve received complaints or if there's a domain you prefer not to contact.
-
Searching Your Blacklist:
- Got a long blacklist? Use the search bar to quickly find a specific lead, company, email, or domain. 🔍
-
Automatic Blacklisting Features:
- Unsubscribe Button: If you have this in your emails, anyone who clicks it automatically goes into your blacklist. These leads’ emails will show up in blue. 🔵
- Email Bounces: If an email bounces, that address is automatically blacklisted. You’ll find these in the Email or Domain Blacklist box. 📬
And there you have it, Skyleaders! You're now fully equipped to use the blacklist feature to its fullest. This ensures your campaigns are as effective and targeted as they can be.
Hope you found this tutorial helpful and easy to follow. Keep on soaring high with your Skylead campaigns! 🚀✨
