Hey there Skyleaders,
In this article, we will talk more about the CSV-imported campaigns.
An extra benefit of a CSV-imported campaign is the possibility of hyper-personalization. Each column of your CSV file becomes a variable that you can use to personalize your messages. You can add an infinite number of hyper-personalized variables.
! Make sure that the custom variables don’t coincide (they cannot have the same name) with the variables already available on Skylead.
There are two key variables that need to be exactly the same so Skylead can use data underneath them. The first one is ‘’profileUrl’’ which is used if you want to visit Leads’ profiles and the second one is ‘’email’’ where you need to insert Leads’ emails in order to make an email-only campaign.
All other variables don’t have to follow the same format as the key variables. For example, if you want to add the lead’s first and last name, they can be formatted like this: first_name, last_name, etc.

The rules of formatting: 📜
Here are some of the things that you would need to pay attention to in order for the campaign to really help you maximize your outreach:
! The names of the key variables have to fit the exact formatting that Skylead uses or we won’t be able to recognize them
! The variables can’t have names that are the same as Skylead uses
! The LinkedIn URL that you will be using when starting your campaign must start with https://www.linkedin… in order to work
! If you don’t have a valid Sales Navigator subscription, you can’t have Sales Navigator URLs in the CSV file (example: https://www.linkedin.com/sales/people/...)
! For a LinkedIn-only campaign, the “profileUrl” variable is mandatory
! For an email-only campaign, the “email” variable is mandatory
! And for a mixed campaign, both “profileUrl” and “email” are needed
We hope this article was helpful!
Enjoy your Skylead experience! 🚀
