Level 8: Enable Email Warm-Up

Before you run off to do your outreach, there’s one last thing we need to set up in Skylead for additional safety and extra reassurance that emails you’re about to send will surely land straight to your leads' inboxes. Introducing Skylead’s fresh Infinite email warm-up feature. Let’s set it up. 👇

8. Infinite Email Warm-Up

The warm up will help those newly created email accounts:

• Gain trust with email providers
• Protect your sender reputation
• Improve deliverability
• Reduce bounce rates
• Make sure your emails land straight in your leads’ inboxes, and keep your emails away from spam.

With the Skylead you can access unlimited email outreach and warm-up an infinite number of email accounts according to our Fair Use Policy. ✨

Click on the three dots menu next to the email account you want to warm up, and click Start warmup.

1. Add Your Email App Password

Before enabling warm-up, you first need to enter the App Password for the email account connected to Skylead. 

This is required so the warm-up system can safely create and manage warm-up email activity for your mailbox.

Depending on your provider, you can generate the App Password from your email account security settings.

If you're using another email provider, please check your provider’s security or account settings to see how App Passwords are generated and managed.

Once you generate the App Password, simply paste it into the password field and continue configuring your warm-up settings.


 

2. Enable Email Ramp-Up and set Emails per day

Turn ON the Email ramp-up option to gradually increase your sending volume over time 📈

This helps build sender reputation naturally and safely.

You can also select your preferred ramp-up speed:

• Slow (60 days) – safest option for brand-new domains or mailboxes;
• Normal (30 days) – balanced approach;
• Fast (14 days) – more aggressive increase.

Warming-up your email account is absolutely essential, and here’s why:

• Builds trust with email providers: Warming up your account shows email providers that your activity is safe, helping more of your emails reach the inbox instead of getting flagged as spam.
   
• Improves deliverability: Slow and steady wins the race—gradual volume increases reduce the chance of triggering spam filters, which means more messages in your recipients’ inboxes.
   
• Protects your sender reputation: Sending too much too soon can damage your reputation, making future emails harder to deliver. Warm-up helps you start on the right foot with a positive sender score.
   
• Gets you ready for high-volume outreach: A warmed-up account is prepared for bigger campaigns without the deliverability headaches, making your outreach smoother and more effective.
