✔️ Setting Up a Custom Tracking Domain

Step 1: Choose the Subdomain 🖋️

Decide on the subdomain you'd like to use for tracking. Common choices include track, click, or go. For example, if your domain is yourbrand.com, you might choose track.yourbrand.com. 🌐

Step 2: Update DNS Settings ⚙️

• Log in to your domain registrar's website.
• Navigate to the DNS settings section.
• Add a new CNAME record:

Name: Your chosen subdomain (e.g., track)

Value: Endpoint provided by Skylead

Value can be found under Email settings once you click on the Custom tracking icon. 📈

Step 3: Verify and Configure your Domain in Skylead 🛠️

To verify your custom tracking domain, please enter it in Your domain field (For example if you choose track as your subdomain, you need to put track.yourdomain.com) and click on Check order to verify it. Verification may take a while, but once your domain is verified you'll see a notification. 🕒

Once you click on Check status, the tool will perform an SSL certificate configuration check and this could take a few minutes. During SSL certificate verification, the globe icon will be yellow, and once it's verified the globe will become green.

Step 4: Test ✅

After configuration, perform tests to ensure that tracking is working as expected. Check metrics like email open rates and click-through rates to confirm. 📊
