Hello there! π
Welcome to the Skylead Terminology article!
To better understand our platform and for seamless communication with our support team, we created a list of words and their meaning.
First things first!
Skylead Login Pageπ

User, Account, and Seat β
Skylead User π
What is a User on Skylead?
When you first register you create a User on Skylead.
The user is the one who manages all billing information and can buy seats, connect accounts, cancel accounts, or delete them.
Become a User is free, all you need to do is - Register on our Platform.
Account π
When you click on Add seat button you will be taken to the Account creation.
We call it Account once it is connected with Linkedin or/an email.
Seat π
To create an Account on Skylead you first need to buy a Seat. You can think of a seat as a token, or credit that you can use to create an Account.
The seat doesn't necessarily have to be converted to an account, you can have a seat that is not connected yet and use it when you are ready.
If you have unused seats they will be shown at the bottom of the page.

Here is where you will name your campaign and add a lead source in a form of a Search URL or CSV file.
Campaign Settings PageβοΈ
We call this page Campaign Settings Page. All settings that you need to set before entering a sequence builder are located here along with Advanced Settings for your campaign.
Sequence Builder Page π
Here is where the magic happens.
This is the place where you are creating your campaign.
You can add steps and conditions and combine them in a flow that best suits your needs.
The first step is always a Lead Source and is a Search URL or a CSV file you provided previously.
Team Management π€π€π€
Teamπ£οΈ
When you register to Skylead platform you automatically create a team. You can create as many teams as you want. All teams that you create will be shown on the left side of your screen. You can invite your teammates to join the team, and your teammates can invite you to join their team.
Team membersπ’
All the users that register to the Skylead platform become team members. There can be multiple team members in one team. You can invite your team members to manage the accounts that you add.
Roles π£οΈπ₯π€
You can assign roles to every team member. We made 3 native roles (Admin, Owner, and Editor), but you can create up to 10 custom roles. Depending on the roles you assign to your teammates the permissions they have will differ.
You can assign different roles for different accounts your team member is managing. For example, if you have 3 accounts one team member can have 3 different roles, every role for every account.
PermissionsβοΈ
As mentioned above, roles can be assigned to your team members. With each role comes a different set of permissions. With specific permission, team members can use certain features. When creating a custom role you are the one who chooses what will your teammates see and what features can they manage.
With permission, you can allow your teammates to manage billing and/or roles and permission features.
If this is not enabled they won't be able to see this feature.
We hope this article was helpful!
Enjoy your Skylead experience! π
