How to Get the Lead Back to the Campaign
My name is Jelena and in this tutorial, I will show you how to get the lead back to the campaign and explain why this option is so useful. 👍🏻
What is the benefit of this option?
It is usually best applied to the messaging part of your campaign - LinkedIn Messages, Connection Request Messages, InMails, or Emails, but have in mind that you can get the lead back to the campaign at any moment and to any step.
If the lead replies to any of your messages, it will show in your Skylead Chat and you will have three options:
- Responding manually
- Responding through instant replies
- Getting the lead back to the campaign (in case you evaluate that it is fine to just proceed with whatever the next step would be for that lead)
You can get the lead back to the campaign in two ways:
- From the Campaign Tracking Dashboard
- From the Chat

When you click the “Get the Lead back to the Campaign” button, the following options will appear:
You can choose to get the lead back to any step. Of course, you should act depending on what the prospect responded, what the previous step was and what would be the most logical progression of your flow.
Getting the Lead back to the campaign from the Chat
Getting the Lead back to the campaign from Chat might even be a more “convenient” option, as you can directly see what he or she replied and decide what the next step should be.
As we mentioned before, in case you don’t decide to get the lead back to the campaign, you can reply to your lead’s message manually or using the instant replies in the bottom-left corner of your chat.
