How To Create a Campaign with Business Emails
My name is Jelena and in this tutorial, I will show you how to create a campaign using business emails previously discovered and verified by Skylead.
There are different scenarios depending on whether your campaign is imported:
- From a Search (LinkedIn or Sales Navigator);
- From a CSV file (that needs to contain your leads' LinkedIn profile URLs).
Before starting to put together the actual steps of your Business Email Campaign, turn on the following options on the Skylead Campaign Settings page.
Click on “Advanced” first.
Track email link clicks - track if the lead clicked on the link in the email (in case your email contains any);
Track email opens - check if the lead opened an email.
Once you’ve set up the rest of the Campaign Settings, click “Next” and choose “Smart Sequences”.
Since Skylead needs to discover business emails beforehand, your first step, right after “Lead Source” has to be “View”, “Follow” OR “Invite to Connect”.
The “View”, “Follow” OR “Invite to Connect” steps have to precede the “Email Discovery & Verification” step so that Skylead can visit your leads’ LinkedIn profiles and scrape all the necessary data for composing business emails.
NOTE: Have in mind that the “Email Discovery & Verification” step is for Business Emails ONLY.
After these, there is a matching condition - “If has verified email” that needs to precede any other action in your campaign.
In case emails have been discovered, the following step will be Email Message.
If not, there are other options on LinkedIn, such as sending an Invite to Connect. Then, “if connected” - “Message” (referring to LinkedIn Message).
If not, there are other options on LinkedIn, such as proceeding with InMails.
“Follow” the lead’s profile first.
Then put “If free InMail”, the condition that verifies if your lead is open to free InMails.
“If free InMail” - if yes, you can proceed with sending an InMail.
If not, this doesn’t need to be the end of your sequence.
You can still use its full potential by adding “Invite to Connect” and proceeding with the above-mentioned branch - “If connected” - “Message”.
As far as Emails are concerned, they have all the characteristics of a regular Email.
You can send emails from your Gmail or Outlook Account.
- Email subject;
- Email Body;
- "Add image" - Image and GIF hyper-personalization feature (optional);
- Tags (in case of an imported CSV, each column of your CSV file becomes a tag as well);
- Execution time;
- Check the "Business Email" option (a must!).
We hope this tutorial was helpful!
Enjoy your Skylead experience! 😀
